Teaching Assistant

At Ingoldsby Academy, we believe that every child deserves to feel valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our small but mighty team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in helping our children to learn, grow and thrive. Working closely with teachers and senior staff, you will provide support that enables pupils to access learning, develop their independence and feel confident in themselves.

You will work with individual children and small groups, both within the classroom and, where appropriate, outside the main teaching area. You will help to implement personalised learning plans and provide the encouragement, guidance and practical support that children need to succeed.

The role will also include supporting pupils during break and lunchtime, helping to create a safe, happy and welcoming environment throughout the school day.
