Teaching Assistant (Resource Base)

The working hours for this role are expected to be 34.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. The start date for this role is 09 November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive team as a Teaching Assistant within our Resource Base, helping children with a range of additional needs to thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support, adapting learning activities and helping pupils develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and a love of learning. Every day brings the chance to build positive relationships with children, offering encouragement, reassurance, and personalised support that helps them overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. The role involves supporting children in individual, small group, and whole-class settings, contributing to personalised provision plans and helping to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and successful. You will play a key part in promoting children's wellbeing, self-esteem, and positive behaviour, while working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis and is funded through Behaviour Support and Local Authority SEND funding, meaning the role is linked to the specific needs and provision requirements of pupils accessing the Resource Base.
