Engineering Team Leader

We are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site.

You will be responsible for leading an engineering team, ensuring effective PPM delivery, responding to breakdowns and driving improvements to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers.
• Manage PPM schedules and day-to-day engineering priorities.
• Coordinate breakdown response and fault finding.
• Ensure maintenance activity is accurately recorded on the CMMS.
• Drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
• Ensure high standards of safety, GMP and maintenance quality.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to deliver engineering priorities.

About You

• Apprentice-trained, multi-skilled engineer with a recognised engineering qualification.
• Previous engineering leadership/management experience within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong PPM, fault-finding and problem-solving experience.
• Experience managing engineering teams and developing people.
• Knowledge of GMP, safety and manufacturing standards.
• Continuous Improvement / Lean experience would be advantageous.
• CMMS and project management experience desirable.
