CAD/REVIT Engineer

Our client is a long established and rapidly growing multi-disciplined engineering firm delivering ventilation and air conditioning services to the HVAC market. They require a draughtsman with a specific focus on the design and detailing of ductwork and AC systems, with experience of surveying routes and coordinating design information.

THE ROLE:

• Produce accurate working drawings for production.
• Carry out take-offs for estimating.
• Assist with estimating activities.
• Produce and manage a schedule Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Copy, print, and distribute drawings as required.
• Keep drawing schedules up to date for both issued and received drawings.
• Provide data on drawing times to support scheduling.
• Check completed drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site surveying and collate site information.
• Check equipment drawings and details, and accurately incorporate them into drawings.
• Develop through training in new CAD packages as directed by the company.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience of AutoCAD and Revit is essential (ideally qualified).
• Keen attention to detail.
• Conscientious approach to producing drawings.
• Strong scheduling and time management skills.

THE HOURS & SALARY:

• 35,000 – 45,000
• Monday to Friday 7:00 – 16:30
