We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues in helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally within our vibrant school community.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and school leaders, you will help create engaging learning experiences that enable all pupils to succeed and make progress.

The role includes:

• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
• Assisting teachers in delivering high-quality learning activities.
• Providing targeted support for pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Preparing resources and learning materials to support lessons.
• Supporting the implementation of individual education plans, interventions and behaviour support strategies where required.
• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and breaktimes, helping to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Supporting pupils' personal care needs where necessary.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

• Has a good standard of education, including English and Maths qualifications.
• Enjoys working with children and is committed to helping them thrive.
• Can build positive, professional relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Is patient, reliable, flexible and able to use their initiative.
• Shares our commitment to inclusion and high expectations for every child.

Previous experience working with children or supporting pupils in a school setting would be beneficial, although we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
