Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £220 per day

Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer based in Essex looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and remedial works across a range of fire and security systems, working across commercial, industrial, and residential sites throughout Essex and the surrounding areas. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Service and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
* Carry out servicing and fault-finding on CCTV systems, ensuring optimal performance.
* Service and maintain access control systems, including door controllers and readers.
* Diagnose and repair faults across intruder alarm systems to NSI/SSAIB standards.
* Complete remedial works identified during routine service visits in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate service records and site documentation following each visit.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing fire and security systems in a field-based role.
* Proven experience working with fire alarm systems from manufacturers such as Hochiki, Advanced, or Gent.
* Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent fire alarm qualification (desirable).
* NSI Gold or SSAIB accreditation awareness and working to industry standards (desirable).
