Headteacher

The Governing Board are looking to appoint a Headteacher to our wonderful school in the heart of the Rossendale Valley. This appointment offers our next Headteacher the exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of the families and children in our care. Our school has strong family and community links and we are committed to ensuring that every child flourishes. The school is looking forward to taking the next steps in its’ educational journey and for this we welcome a leader who has the vision and creativity to work alongside us to continue to make our school a safe and exciting centre of learning for our whole team.

We are looking for

• Practicing Catholic who can lead out the gospel values of our school and have strong links with our parish.

• Is an outstanding teacher and who thrives on making education fit to the context of the school.

• Is not afraid of a challenge and can think outside the box.

• Has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and adaptive teaching

• Has a good grounding in SEND as we have a high percentage of SEND children on roll.

• Is a team player and enjoys leading a team

• Can work alongside our families and community to make things better.
