EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Zest Education are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sutton Coldfield on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will work within the Early Years setting, supporting children with their learning and development and helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment.

The role will include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning through play and structured activities
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team
• Providing individual and small-group support
• Encouraging children’s communication, independence and confidence
• Supporting classroom routines and preparing learning resources
• Helping to maintain a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children in a classroom-based setting
• Has a good understanding of working with young children
• Is patient, caring and enthusiastic
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, although qualifications are preferred rather than essential
