• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Eligibility to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

6. Empathy & Patience: Dedicated to supporting pupils through challenging topics and building their confidence.

1. Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and well-structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
2. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students in line with departmental policies.
3. Differentiate learning materials and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
4. Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline to create a safe, respectful learning environment.
5. Set meaningful homework and provide constructive, timely feedback to support continuous student improvement.
6. Prepare students effectively for national examinations, including GCSE Mathematics assessments.
7. Contribute to the continuous development of the school's Mathematics scheme of work and shared curriculum resources.
8. Collaborate closely with colleagues, senior leadership, and support staff to uphold high academic standards.
9. Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and carers regarding student progress and welfare.
10. Participate in departmental meetings, school-wide events, parents' evenings, and ongoing professional development (CPD).
