Production Technician

Are you looking to launch your career in the life sciences sector? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our Technical Operations team in Dundee. This is a fantastic opportunity for a science graduate or a practically minded individual to gain hands-on experience in a high-standard, regulated manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Solution Manufacturing: Safely produce rare reagents, intermediates, and bulk chemical/biological solutions in strict accordance with the master schedule and established operating procedures.

• Compliance & Documentation: Adhere precisely to standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will take full accountability for maintaining accurate, high-quality documentation.

• System Logging: Utilise Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for daily data entry and document management.

• Workload Management: Manage your daily production targets independently once assignments have been received, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time.

• Quality & Safety: Collaborate with the Quality Control team, participate in safety initiatives, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production issues, and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

What we are looking for

• Core Skills: Strong basic numeracy for accurate calculations, excellent spoken and written English, and a practical, hands-on aptitude for manufacturing tasks.

• Digital Literacy: Confident computer skills for navigating internal databases and software.

• Professional Attributes: A disciplined, thorough approach to work with a strong commitment to following safety regulations and protocols.

What we offer

• Competitive Pay: £15.88 per hour.

• Working Schedule: 2-weekly rotating shifts (Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 | Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00).

• Contract Type: Temporary (7 months initially, with the potential for extension).
