SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception Class

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a reception class and provide vital support to our students. Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support within a reception class, specifically assisting students with additional needs.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to deliver targeted support for phonics and literacy development.
• Implement strategies to support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring every child can participate fully in classroom activities.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
• Assist in managing classroom routines and resources to meet the diverse needs of the students.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience or training in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Strong understanding of phonics and early years literacy development.
• A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team.
• Flexibility and a genuine commitment to supporting the academic and social development of young children.

Employment Details:

• Location: North Liverpool
• Employment Type: Contract
• Working Hours: Full time 8.30-15.30
• Salary: £14.25 per hour
