We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead a major transformation programme focused on improving safety outcomes across a complex operational environment.

This is a high-profile opportunity to shape strategy, drive product vision and lead the delivery of services that support better identification, management and response to risk, vulnerability and harmful behaviour. Working across multiple workstreams, you will help define and deliver solutions that may include digital products, service improvements, operational change and policy development.

You’ll work closely with a broad range of stakeholders including operational teams, service owners, policy leads, senior leadership and end users to ensure outcomes are evidence-led, user-centred and aligned to organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap across multiple transformation initiatives.
• Lead discovery, experimentation and delivery activities to identify the most effective solutions to complex safety challenges.
• Prioritise product backlogs and investment decisions to maximise value and organisational outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver user-focused services.
• Align product direction with stakeholders across operational, policy and digital functions.
• Ensure products and services are developed using Agile and Lean principles.
• Manage risks, dependencies and competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
• Use insight, research and data to inform decision-making and measure impact.
• Support the transition of products and services into long-term ownership and operational support models.
• Coach and mentor Product Managers, helping to strengthen product capability and best practice.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience developing product visions, strategies and roadmaps for complex, high-risk or large-scale services.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.
• Strong experience delivering products through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases.
• Demonstrable ability to prioritise effectively using user needs, data and business outcomes.
• Experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders across multiple organisational boundaries.
• Strong understanding of product management best practice and service transformation.
• Experience coaching and developing Product Managers.
• Ability to manage risk, dependencies, budgets and investment decisions to deliver measurable value.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within complex public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Understanding of large-scale operational service transformation programmes.
• Experience working across multiple systems, services and organisational functions.
