Inclusion Teacher

Are you a reliable, articulate and well-qualified professional who enjoys working with children and young people and who wants to work in a vibrant school? Working with the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion, this post will enhance the support available to our students to ensure that they achieve their full potential. We wish to appoint a motivated and creative person with a genuine passion for maximising the potential of our most vulnerable students.

If appointed, you will be part of a successful team working with an enthusiastic group of highly committed teachers and support staff who strive to provide the best education and opportunities for our students who may have challenges which mean they find school hard at times.

The successful candidate will work with students either 1:1 or in small groups to support their educational development and promote independence. We are looking for a talented, innovative practitioner with a passion for supporting vulnerable students and will have the skills to plan and implement an engaging inclusion curriculum as well as deliver some lessons to small groups.

This post may appeal equally to a fully qualified teacher or somebody who has worked closely with young people but does not hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience of working with children and young people is essential. We are flexible and will consider both full time or part time working for the right candidate.
