The Role - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Professional Negligence Solicitor to join a dynamic and ambitious team in London, with excellent scope for career development and growth.

The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload of insurance litigation, professional indemnity and professional negligence matters, acting for insurer clients across a range of specialist sectors. This will include claims involving solicitors, financial advisers, insurance brokers and other professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a supportive, high-performing environment, while working on complex and commercially significant professional liability disputes.

The Candidate - The ideal candidate will have 8+ years' PQE and a strong background in defending professional liability and negligence claims, ideally acting for insurers and professionals within the legal, financial services and insurance sectors. You will ideally have gained experience within a leading regional or national law firm and be confident handling complex litigation and managing client relationships. We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in professional negligence and/or professional indemnity litigation
• Comfortable acting for insurer clients and professional defendants
• Commercially minded, with strong analytical and technical skills
• Able to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• A confident communicator with excellent client-handling skills
• Proactive, collaborative and keen to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team
