Sandwell, West Midlands Academics Job opportunity: Reception Teacher Job Type: Temporary part-time at first but can develop into a full-time long-term role for the right candidate Location: Sandwell, B69 School Type: Primary School Start Date: ASAP We, Academics, are looking for a qualified reception teacher to support one of our highly esteemed schools in the B69 area. The successful candidate will already posses a QTS and will ideally have prior experience in a Reception classroom. Key responsibilities of a Reception Teacher include: Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum and tailored to the needs of Reception pupils Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A great relevant understanding of the Foundation Stage 2 curriculum Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service) Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed If the role of being a Reception Teacher interests you, please do not hesitate to contact our Birmingham branch on (phone number removed) or alternatively apply through this advert.
