# Senior Drilling Supervisor

### Role Purpose

The Senior Drilling Supervisor will act as the company’s offshore representative,overseeing the safe and efficient execution of drilling and well operations in accordance with approved programmes,budgets and company standards.

The role is responsible for coordinating rig activities,offshore personnel,contractors and logistics,while maintaining effective communication between offshore operations and onshore teams.

### Key Responsibilities

**Operational Supervision**

* Supervise offshore drilling and well operations,ensuring activities are delivered safely,efficiently and in line with approved programmes and company objectives.
* Represent the company at the rig site on all operational and technical matters.
* Coordinate rig activities,personnel,equipment,materials and logistics to prevent operational delays.
* Act as the principal interface between offshore operations and onshore teams,ensuring clear communication and alignment on operational priorities.
* Monitor contractor and service company performance against contractual requirements and operational expectations.
* Identify and implement operational improvements in collaboration with relevant teams.

**Safety,Compliance & Assurance**

* Promote and enforce a strong offshore safety culture,maintaining compliance with the Company Safety Management System and HSEQ standards.
* Participate in HAZOP,HAZID and other risk assessments,ensuring all required actions are closed before the relevant operations commence.
* Ensure well operations comply with company procedures and applicable HSE requirements.
* Support internal and corporate audits as required.
* Comply with the company Code of Ethics and fulfil all requirements associated with an HSE-critical role.

**Cost Control & Logistics**

* Track daily operational costs and maintain cost awareness throughout the execution of well activities.
* Ensure personnel,equipment and materials are available offshore when required.
* Monitor material consumption and stock levels,raising timely requisitions to avoid downtime.

### Skills & Experience

* Relevant experience supervising offshore drilling and well operations.
* Strong understanding of rig operations,well programmes and offshore safety management.
* Ability to coordinate offshore teams,contractors and service companies effectively.
* Experience managing operational logistics,material requirements and daily costs.
* Familiarity with operational risk assessments,including HAZOP and HAZID.
* Clear communication,sound operational judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Strong commitment to safe working practices,compliance and continuous improvement.
