Our client is a growing electrical contractor delivering a range of residential refurbishment, new-build and solar installation projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee the day-to-day running and delivery of their electrical works.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrical professional looking to take the next step into a management position, with genuine responsibility for the successful delivery of projects.

The Role

As Electrical Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of electrical projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of electrical projects
• Managing electricians, subcontractors and site activities
• Coordinating labour, materials and project requirements
• Carrying out regular site visits and monitoring progress
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other trades
• Ensuring projects remain on programme and within agreed requirements
• Dealing with any issues or challenges that arise during projects
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
• Managing multiple projects across residential refurbishment, new-build and solar installations
• Providing project updates and communicating progress to senior management
• Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical works

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and previous experience in a supervisory, management or project management position.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience within the electrical industry
• Previous experience managing electrical projects and/or teams
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical works
• Experience within refurbishment and/or new-build projects
• Solar installation experience would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills
• The confidence to take ownership and make decisions

Package

• £55,000 per annum
