Receptionist

Sir Frederick Gibberd College (SFG) is seeking to appoint a highly professional and welcoming Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, visitors and external agencies, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional experience for everyone who visits or contacts the school. We are looking for an organised, student-centred individual with excellent communication skills, a calm and approachable manner, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Working within our busy front office, you will be responsible for managing reception services, handling enquiries and telephone calls, supporting student welfare, maintaining records, and providing a range of administrative support across the school. The successful candidate will be confident using IT systems, able to multitask effectively, and capable of remaining calm under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional approach

The successful applicant will become part of a supportive and collaborative team, working closely with colleagues across the school and BMAT. We are looking for someone who shares our values, enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering high-quality support, and is eager to contribute to the continued success of our thriving school community.
