Irby Primary School is part of Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust, which consists of 13 schools on the Wirral Peninsula. Irby Primary School is a happy and successful one form entry school with enthusiastic, highly motivated, friendly and happy staff and children.

We are looking for a reliable, organised, hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated site team. The successful candidate will have high standards in order to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.

Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

Cleaning and sanitising frequently used surfaces.

Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.

Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and appropriately.

Reporting any maintenance, damage or health and safety concerns.

Following the school’s cleaning procedures and safeguarding requirements.
