About the School
Pink Tile Education are working with a mainstream primary school in Brighton who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant / SEN TA / Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already worked in a similar role and is confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a busy primary school environment.
The Role
You will be supporting pupils both within the classroom and on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The role may involve supporting pupils with:

SEN and additional learning needs
ASD / ADHD / SEMH
Behaviour and emotional regulation
1:1 and small-group interventions
Classroom learning and activities
Social skills and independence
Personal care where required

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who is:

Experienced working as a TA, SEN TA or INA
Confident supporting pupils with additional needs
Highly reliable and dependable
Calm, patient and consistent
Able to build strong relationships with pupils
Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
A strong team player who can work effectively alongside teachers and SEN staff

Please note: previous experience working in a TA, SEN TA or INA role is essential for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.
Reliability is extremely important to the school. Candidates must have a strong attendance record and be able to commit reliably to the role. Applications from candidates who cannot demonstrate this will not be considered.
