About the Person You'll Be Supporting & Your Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a gentleman living with Huntington's disease.

You'll support him with personal care, mobility, daily living activities, and community access, helping him maintain his independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. As his condition progresses, his needs will become increasingly complex, so we're looking for someone with experience supporting complex clinical needs.

Experience supporting individuals with Huntington's disease and PEG feeding is essential. Ongoing training and development will be provided to further enhance your skills and support your professional growth.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Support with personal care, mobility, moving and handling, and daily living activities.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting concerns as appropriate.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
• Lead shifts and provide guidance to team members.
• Ensure care plans and documentation are completed accurately.
• Work effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
• Support with audits, compliance, and maintaining high standards of care.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice.
• Respond to changing needs and support complex clinical care requirements.
