Electrical Supervisor/AP

Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor/AP for a contract opportunity within the water and bioenergy sector. The role involves supervising electrical activities and supporting the safe and efficient operation of bioenergy facilities, with particular emphasis on electrical switching procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising electrical works across water and bioenergy facilities
• Carrying out and overseeing electrical switching activities in line with approved procedures
• Ensuring electrical systems are operated safely and efficiently
• Co-ordinating with site teams, contractors and project personnel
• Monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with relevant safety and technical standards
• Supporting the management of site documentation, permits and switching records
• Identifying electrical issues and contributing to effective solutions

Job Requirements:

• Experience working as an Electrical Supervisor, Authorised Person or in a similar electrical position
• Practical experience with electrical switching and isolation procedures
• Strong understanding of electrical safety within industrial, water or bioenergy environments
• Ability to supervise electrical works and coordinate site activities effectively
• Understanding of electrical permits, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Relevant electrical qualifications and authorisation to undertake switching duties
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance
