Facilities Manager - Southwark

My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of building services and facilities in the Southwark area.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, contract delivery, management of all FM services, financial management, and act as ambassador of the team on-site. Support with day to day site operations support with site events coordination confirm all cleaning tasks, PMs and maintenance activities are completed as per schedule

Principal Accountabilities
• Manage the operational and financial delivery of all FM services
• Day to day running of the account
• Managing repairs and monitoring systems performance
• Maintaining an adequate inventory of parts and ordering items as necessary
• Overseeing and supervising the maintenance staff
• Ensuring compliance with security and safety regulations
• Managing renovations, refurbishments and office moves
• Providing advice on energy efficiency
• Managing the budgets and accounts, taking equipment audits
• Contracting of landscaping and other services including snow removal services
• Coordinating the implementation of new building projects with the Director of Capital Projects

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
• You have 3-5 years’ direct facilities Management experience delivering all FM services
• You have experience managing a team/ people management skills
• You can meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to solve problems with professionalism and service focused approach
• You keep up to date with industry trends and have direct experience or an interest in facilities management and customer service
• You are open and have good communication skills

The role is a temporary position on-going until site says otherwise and is paying £26.51 per hour PAYE + holiday pay or £35 per hour Umbrella.
