Hire Controller – Wakefield

We are recruiting a Hire Desk Controller for national company that supplies specialist equipment to the construction industry.

Our client has a great reputation in the industry and is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and flexible all-rounder to work as part of a busy hire desk team within a supportive and friendly company.

Hire industry experience is desirable but not essential for this role providing you have worked in a fast paced office environment previously.

Role & Responsibilities

• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Responsible for processing orders and collections of equipment.
• Liaising with drivers and engineers
• Planning transport for deliveries and collections
• Proactively working with all departments
• Updating a range of IT systems
• Full training on product range will be given

Requirements

• Hire desk experience is desirable but not essential 
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Office based customer service and admin experience
