Rate: £190 per day

Are you a Service Delivery Engineer based in Glasgow looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line technical support across IT services and infrastructure, handling user provisioning, hardware break-fix, and proactive monitoring and resolution of service-affecting issues for a range of internal stakeholders. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality IT support services to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT services and infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
* Carry out user provisioning and account management tasks in line with company processes and security policies.
* Perform hardware break-fix activities, including fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement of end-user devices and peripherals.
* Monitor IT systems and services, identifying and escalating issues before they impact business operations.
* Deliver clear and concise technical guidance to stakeholders at all levels, maintaining a professional standard throughout.
* Provide onsite support from the central Glasgow office, with occasional travel to other UK offices as required.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a 1st and 2nd line IT support or service delivery role.
* Proven experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and common end-user applications.
* Familiarity with ITSM ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or equivalent.
* Experience with hardware break-fix, including laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
* Full UK driving licence, as occasional travel to other UK offices may be required.
* CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (desirable).
