Part-Time Teaching Assistant

This welcoming Coventry school now seeks a committed Teaching Assistant for a part‑time role. To begin with, you bring strong classroom experience or a recognised TA qualification that supports confident, structured practice. As the day develops, you guide pupils through clear tasks, reinforce key skills and maintain calm routines that help children feel settled and ready to learn. Additionally, you work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom support that strengthens engagement and learning
• Small‑group activities that build confidence and reinforce key skills
• 1:1 guidance for pupils needing additional help
• Adapted learning tasks to meet varied needs
• Positive behaviour approaches using calm, consistent communication
• Close teamwork with teachers and support staff

What We’re Looking For

• Ideally qualified: L1/L2/L3 TA
• Strong classroom or SEND experience
• Warm, calm and organised approach
• Confidence supporting varied needs
• Part‑time availability
• Interest in Coventry‑based roles
