Science Technician

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and motivated Science Technician to join our successful Science Department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of an engaging and high-quality science curriculum.

Working closely with the Head of Science and teaching staff, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the science laboratories. This includes preparing, maintaining and organising equipment, materials and resources to support practical teaching and learning across the department.

The role involves coordinating the preparation of resources for lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment, managing stock and inventory records, and ensuring that laboratories are safe, well-organised and fully equipped.

The successful candidate will also provide technical support to staff and students during practical activities, helping to create an effective learning environment.We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, and a commitment to supporting students' learning.
