Class Teacher

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that builds on children’s individual strengths, interests and prior learning, while creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which they can flourish. You will inspire curiosity, encourage independence and help children develop the confidence and skills they need as they begin their educational journey.

The successful candidate will:

• Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document
• Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
• Ensure the highest possible standards of teaching and learning for a group of pupils
• Lead and manage a class team and ensure the safety and well-being of children and colleagues
• Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to the Headteacher (or delegated member of staff)
