Job Title: Civils Estimator

Location: Inverness, Highlands
Position: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum
Total Package: Up to £115,000, including benefits and bonus

Overview

Corrie Recruitment are working with an established Inverness-based Civil Engineering Contractor to recruit an experienced Civils Estimator for a permanent position based in their Inverness office.

Operating throughout the Highlands and Islands, the contractor is involved in a diverse range of projects across renewable energy, infrastructure and construction.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business and contribute to the pricing and delivery of significant civil engineering projects across the region.

The role may also suit someone currently working in a civils operational or commercial position who is interested in developing their career and moving into estimating.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and compiling estimates and tenders for civil engineering projects
• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications
• Assessing project costs, resources and quantities
• Liaising with operational and commercial teams to develop accurate and competitive tenders
• Supporting the preparation and submission of tender packages
• Contributing to the successful pricing of projects across renewable energy, infrastructure and construction

Requirements

• Previous experience within the civil engineering industry
• Estimating experience or a background in civils operations or commercial work
• Strong understanding of civil engineering construction methods and project costs
• Good analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational and commercial teams
