Salary: £12.86 per hour (37 hours per week, office-based)

We're hiring for a reputed client an Administrative Officer (AO) to be a first point of contact within a busy court environment. If you thrive on helping people, can handle varied queries with calm professionalism, and enjoy keeping operations moving smoothly, this could be a meaningful next step.
What you'll be doing:
* Support users, judicial office holders and partner agencies with exceptional customer service across in-person, telephone and digital/webchat channels
* Prepare for, facilitate and support the full journey of hearings through accurate administrative processing
* Resolve enquiries and signpost users to the right support and services, including those with complex or additional needs
* Manage case files with accurate data entry and secure information handling, following retention and data loss protocols
* Assist with listing and scheduling, ensuring responsiveness to urgent matters and adherence to listing policies
* Support jury service administration, including selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking
* Help with enforcement-related tasks such as financial assessments and support for fine collection, plus basic reporting
* Undertake general operational/admin duties (including risk awareness linked to buildings and facilities checks)
What you'll bring:
* Confidence working in a team and flexing your workload to meet priorities
* Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and working with databases
* Clear communication skills-able to explain processes and handle queries professionally, even in difficult situations
* Proactive problem-solving, with a willingness to escalate appropriately when needed
* Resilience and impartial professionalism, including when dealing with distressing or complex information
