The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Neurologist to support services in the South East.

This locum opportunity offers a structured 08:00-17:00 working pattern as part of a 10 PA job plan, providing a varied and rewarding role within a busy neurology service. The successful candidate will support inpatient and outpatient neurology services, working alongside established multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role includes a mixture of neurology ward work, outpatient clinics, triaging, and Advice & Guidance (A&G) responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality specialist neurological care within inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide neurology consultations for outlier patients on medical wards
• Conduct outpatient neurology clinics
• Undertake patient triaging and provide Advice & Guidance (A&G) support
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation
• Support safe and effective patient care in line with local and national guidelines
• Contribute to the delivery of an efficient and responsive neurology service

What We're Looking For

• Full GMC registration
• Must be on the Specialist Register for Neurology
• Relevant recent NHS experience at Consultant level
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
