Location: Leeds Valley Park – 5-days a week on-site.

Do you enjoy being the organised, dependable person everyone turns to? This is a chance to join a busy Physical & Electronic Security team as a Project Administrator, keeping access cards, security keys and the systems behind them running smoothly across the organisation’s operational sites.
It’s a varied role that blends first-line support, system administration and work on an electromechanical key project. It would suit an experienced administrator, particularly one who has worked with access control before.
What you’ll be doing
- Handling day-to-day access control requests across the PAC and Abloy systems, and progressing IT service requests so support queues stay low.
- Acting as the first point of contact for key holders, providing first-line support to colleagues and service partners who need mechanical or electromechanical keys for operational sites.
- Creating and managing access cards, supporting the administration of the PAC system and providing cover for the PAC Administrator.
- Keeping the electromechanical key system’s back-end application accurate and up to date.
- Carrying out security key musters and audits, and managing the leavers and movers process for access control.
- Looking after the processes and spreadsheets behind the role, and finding ways to simplify them.
- Providing admin support to the electromechanical key project and the wider security team, including cover during annual leave and other absences.
- Previous administrative experience, ideally with some knowledge of access control.
- Excellent customer service skills, with clear written and verbal communication and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, including senior management.
- Good Microsoft skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- A thorough, reliable approach, with the attention to detail to stay accurate and the ability to prioritise against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to work from the office, from home or a mix of the two.
- A full UK driving licence.
What you’ll bring
Experience in physical security (in any capacity), system administration or IT would be a real bonus, but isn’t essential.
Why apply?
You’ll gain hands-on experience with access control and electromechanical key systems, get involved in project work, and join a collaborative team where ideas for improving processes are encouraged, with training provided as the role develops.
If this sounds like you, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
