Desk Based Financial Adviser

Financial Adviser (desk based), Blantyre, near Glasgow.

Provide regulated advice on investments, pensions, protection and tax planning by phone and Microsoft Teams, supported by a centralised investment proposition and dedicated adviser support and paraplanning teams. £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a client-focused advice business built on integrity, professionalism and continuous improvement. You will build long-term client relationships, help people achieve financial security and wellbeing, and work in a team that shares knowledge and supports each other.

THE ROLE

• Provide regulated financial advice across investments, pensions, protection and tax planning, normally over the phone or via Microsoft Teams
• Review clients’ financial circumstances, needs and objectives in depth
• Recommend suitable solutions using a centralised investment proposition
• Prepare and present clear, personalised financial plans and suitability reports
• Build strong client relationships through engaging regular reviews and proactive communication
• Identify vulnerable clients and take extra care where needed
• Contribute to business growth by developing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and supporting marketing initiatives

ABOUT YOU: 

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII, CISI or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience providing regulated financial advice, either sitting in on meetings or leading them 
• Up-to-date CPD record

You will have strong technical knowledge of financial products, markets and FCA regulations, excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly. You value integrity, enjoy building long-term relationships, and are comfortable with change and ongoing learning.
