About the role
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to deliver high-quality education and care. They will help to create an engaging, inclusive and language-rich environment in which children feel safe, develop confidence and thrive.
The core working hours are 8:15am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. We are particularly interested in applicants who are also willing to undertake additional paid hours within our wraparound provision, operating from 7:30am to 8:30am and 3:00pm to 5:30pm. The precise pattern of any additional hours will be agreed separately.
We are looking for someone who -- holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- has recent experience of working effectively within an EYFS setting
- understands child development and the statutory EYFS framework
- is warm, patient and skilled at building secure relationships with young children
- can support communication, language, early literacy and early mathematics
- is committed to inclusion and supporting children with additional needs
- works well with parents, carers and colleagues
- is committed to safeguarding, professional learning and high expectations
- is flexible and willing to support wraparound care where agreed
- an Outstanding and ambitious Early Years provision
