Teaching Assistant – Grade 4 – 32.5 hours a week – 38 weeks a year

The governors of Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School would like to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join our committed and enthusiastic team. This position is to commence in October 2026 and will be temporary for the academic year in the first instance.

The main role of the job is to support the learning within Early Years. The successful candidate should have the highest of expectations for all children yet provide a calm and nurturing approach. It is desirable that the successful candidate has experience of working with SEND children.

The closing date for applications is 12.00pm on 2nd October 2026. Interviews will be held on the 5th of October 2026.
