We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to assist the Business Manager at Hempstead Schools Federation in providing a comprehensive range of finance and administrative services.
This is a permanent post for 21 hours per week.
You will assist the Business Manager with the implementation of the School's financial procedures and will provide a full range of financial and administrative support to the School. Experience within an office environment, with knowledge of school financial systems would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have an up-to-date knowledge and practical experience of current IT packages, a high level of organisational skills and outstanding interpersonal skills with both children and adults. You will also need to be able to work to deadlines, use own initiative and work as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- processing invoices, orders and VAT returns
- maintaining accurate financial records
- general administrative duties as required by the Head Teacher, Business Manager or any member of the Senior Leadership Team.
