We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our Adult Social Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across four bungalows on one site. Your work will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community!
As a Domestic Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and Caring: Carry out general and deep cleaning tasks to keep all areas tidy and hygienic.
- Health and Safety Hero: Follow Health and Safety regulations, including infection prevention and control measures.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, such as bodily fluid spillages.
- Record Keeping: Maintain daily records using our digital platform to ensure compliance and quality.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work according to a rota that covers seven days a week, including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A general standard of education.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessments.
- Experience in cleaning within a domestic or commercial setting.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
