Ark Little Ridge is a popular and over-subscribed school in the heart of Hastings graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ in all areas by Ofsted. (October 2023) It has a proven track record of raising standards for its pupils, particularly our most vulnerable..

We are a two-form entry school with a full cohort of 60 pupils in each year group. Our staff are very committed to knowing each child and providing them with the very best care.

We are seeking to appoint TWO highly motivated Individual Needs Assistants to work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, mornings only, 9am to midday. These roles will be fixed term positions until 31st July 2027 as they are funding-dependent. They will involve supporting the learning and development of small groups and individual pupils.  We can offer you a friendly, supportive school with great opportunities for professional development.
The successful candidates will:
•    have an enthusiasm for working with primary aged children
•    have good literacy and mathematical skills
•    be hard working, resilient and adaptable to change
•    have an understanding and knowledge of supporting children’s learning
•    an understanding of EYFS development is desirable

Salary Scale: Ark Support (outside London) Point 4; Full time salary £25,185 per annum.
Actual pro-rata salary:  t£9,026.56 per annum (gross).
