TA Grade 2 Post.pdf – 315KB Closing Date 09 October 2026 23:55Due to one of our Teaching Assistants retiring shortly Holly Primary School is looking to appoint a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role will be a mixture of working 1:1 with children with special educational needs both in the classroom, break times and lunchtimes. There will also be general classroom support.
The successful candidate will be:
- Qualified as a teaching assistant
- Enthusiastic and able to think on their feet to solve problems
- Be IT literate to input information onto our school information system (after training on this system).
- Able to keep the child’s provision running effectively
- Be committed to inclusion of the children they work with
- Able to communicate well with children, parents and staff
- Able to maintain a positive outlook and cheerful personality
- Able to adapt planned curriculum to meet needs
The successful candidate should also have a clear understanding of supporting children with special educational needs from their TA qualifications or experience in work.
