Chew Valley Dairy are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our transport team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and milk collections, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Chew Valley Dairy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and picking up raw milk to/from various locations throughout the week.

*Responsibilities*

* Transport goods to designated locations.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
* Communicate regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

*Skills*

* Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
* Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
