BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with knowledge of wastewater systems, domestic pumping stations and sewage treatment plants?

We’re working with an established wastewater solutions business looking for someone to drive growth across its service and maintenance division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and getting out to meet customers face-to-face.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for:

Winning new service and maintenance contracts.

Developing relationships with councils, housing associations, hotels, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities.

Identifying new business opportunities through calls, emails and face-to-face meetings.

Visiting customers on-site to understand their requirements and recommend solutions.

Supporting the sales team with technical quotations and recommendations.

Growing existing accounts and building a strong sales pipeline.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who have:

Experience in business development or technical sales within the wastewater industry.

Knowledge of domestic pumping stations, sewage treatment plants and tankering works.

Experience selling service and maintenance contracts.

The confidence to discuss technical solutions with customers.

A full UK driving licence.

THE PACKAGE

£45,000 basic salary + commission (OTE £55,000+)

22 days’ holiday + bank holidays

Potential for one WFH day per week following probation

Maidstone, Kent (ME17)

Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm
