Conveyancing Fee Earner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established and growing law firm with offices in Chelmsford and Leigh-on-Sea.

Our client is looking for a motivated Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or experienced Conveyancing Executive to join their friendly and supportive team. Qualified and suitably experienced unqualified candidates will be considered.

Conveyancing Fee Earner – Responsibilities

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle contract checks, mortgage reports, searches and freehold and leasehold enquiries.
• Manage exchanges and completions, ensuring transactions progress smoothly.
• Build strong relationships with clients, referrers and third parties.
• Provide regular updates and deliver excellent client service.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve targets and identify new business opportunities.

Conveyancing Fee Earner – Requirements

• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills.
• A proactive, professional approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
• New-build experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
