We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Early Years practitioner to take the Lead role in our Baby Room at Boundstone Nursery School.

At Boundstone Nursery School we believe in providing a warm, engaging environment where children can thrive and develop. We are committed to providing high-quality early years education and care, fostering creativity and curiosity, starting with our youngest children.

In this role, you will oversee the care and development of babies aged 0-2 years, ensuring their safety, happiness, and overall well-being. As well as being Early Years Educator to a group of children, you will lead and direct others within the baby room to ensure that the highest standards of care and safety are always met and that children’s development is optimised.

Job Details

Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 5pm Tuesday, Thursday 8am - 4pm

Salary: Grade 7 £29,540 pro rata, term time only

Location: Boundstone Nursery School, Lancing West Sussex

Closing Date: 28th September 2026

Interviews: w/c 5th October 2026

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications/Experience Required:

(Essential)

• Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

(Desirable)

• EYTS/EYPS (or equivalent)
• Early Years degree or other Level 5+ qualification
• Experience leading a team
• Driving licence
