School Cleaner

Provide Education are recruiting for a School Cleaner to work within a school in Barnsley on a long term basis.

We are looking for someone who can help maintain a clean and safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping and wiping surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
• Cleaning staff rooms and office areas
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Following health and safety procedures
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is stored safely

Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial, although previous school experience is not essential.

Applicants will require an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Provide Education.
