The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where pupils can build their knowledge, confidence and independence.

Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons
• Teaching across the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
• Supporting pupils with different abilities and additional needs
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently
• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other colleagues
• Communicating effectively with pupils, staff and families
• Following school safeguarding policies and procedures

Responsibilities will vary according to the school and individual placement.

Who We’re Looking For

We’d particularly like to hear from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within KS2
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Set clear and consistent expectations
• Adapt their teaching to different learning needs
• Are reliable, organised and professional
• Enjoy contributing to a wider school community
