About the role

The Stronger Families Hub (SFH) are recruiting two new Key Workers to join the team.

As a SFH Key Worker, you will be the first point of contact for families, residents, and professionals seeking support or guidance for children and adults at risk. Working within our innovative Stronger Families and Protection Service, you will provide high-quality, enhanced information gathering, advice, and triage for referrals both during office and out of office hours.

Your role will be crucial in helping us to:

  • Promote early help and prevention

  • Manage safeguarding concerns

  • Reduce demand on statutory services

  • Respond with empathy, clarity, and urgency when it matters most

  • You will support the Out of Hours Service between the hours of 5pm and 1am Monday to Friday, and at weekends from 9am to 9pm.

This role is more than just a contact point; it is an essential gateway that enables us to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families in Hillingdon.

About You

We’re looking for someone who shares our resident-first ethos. You are:

  • Calm, confident, and capable under pressure

  • An excellent communicator who can build rapport quickly

  • Skilled in handling sensitive, confidential information with care and accuracy

  • Experienced in social care, early help, or multi-agency working (or willing to learn)

  • Comfortable using case management systems and digital tools

You will thrive in a multi-disciplinary, high-impact environment, working alongside social workers, health professionals, the police, and voluntary sector partners to safeguard and support our community.
