The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant Rheumatologist to support a service in Scotland.
This locum opportunity offers a fixed-term contract, supporting the Rheumatology department due to a vacant post. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work within an established multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality specialist rheumatology care across the service.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality specialist Rheumatology care within an acute hospital setting
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a broad range of rheumatological conditions
- Support outpatient and inpatient services as required
- Work closely with nursing staff, allied health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
- Contribute to safe, effective and patient-centred care
- Support service delivery and clinical governance activities within the department
What We're Looking For
- Active GMC registration
- Previous NHS experience at Consultant level within Rheumatology
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
