PLAY WORKER

Salary: NJC Scale 2 points 4 to 5 (£25,185 to £25,583 per annum FTE - pay award pending). Actual salary £11,375.14 per annum on point 5.

Contract: Permanent. 19.75 hours per week. 07.00 to 08.45 Monday to Friday and 15.15 to 18.00 Monday to Thursday. Term time plus 2 training days in September and October (38.4 weeks per year).

The Role

As a Playworker, you will:

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children attending Roosters
• Create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can thrive
• Organise and lead a range of activities including games, crafts, sports and outdoor play
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children's wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with the wider Roosters team and school staff
• Ensure children remain safe, happy and fully engaged throughout sessions
• Promote our values of Respect, Aspire and Grow in all interactions
