About the role

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 Plus SEN Allowance

Pay Band D / SCP 5-6

£26,427 – 26,847 plus SEN of £1,539 pro rata per annum (pay award pending)

Actual Salary: £16,234 - £16,271 per annum

Actual SEN: £1,229 per annum

25 hours per week, 46 weeks per year – contract subject to enhanced provision funding and needs of child remaining unchanged. 

Current role will start at 8.30 am and finish at 2:30 pm

The Governors of wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to support the learning of a Y4 child with special educational needs in our school. 

Do you:

  • Have experience of working with children with SEND needs?
  • Have recent experience in working in KS2?
  • Currently possess First Aid qualifications or willingness to train?
  • Possess a warm and welcoming personality?
  • Have artistic flair and an enthusiastic approach?
  • Have high level interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills?
  • Have the willingness to support the continued development of this happy and successful school?
  • Have experience of working with children with ASC/ADHD?
  • Have experience of providing a sensory programme?
