About the role
Admin Officer
Location: Buckinghamshire, SL1 2HE.
Working Days / Hours: 37 hours Monday - Friday
Working Pattern: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour

Our Client is hiring an Administrative Officer to support the effective operation of the Courts and Family Court-helping progress cases and ensure excellent service for court users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
* Prepare papers, files and documents for hearings, meetings and tribunals, ensuring everything is up to date
* Create and update records on an in-house computer system, carry out data input and administration support
* Handle post opening and dispatch, filing, photocopying and document preparation
* Provide front-facing support (counter, written and telephone enquiries) with a helpful, prompt, "right first time" approach
* Support court/tribunal operations by clerking hearings and ensuring papers and materials are available
* Contact relevant parties, schedule and assist with listing/rota activity, including serving court documents and related administration
* Check and verify documents, records and statistics against criteria, regulations and procedures
* Produce basic statistical analysis reports and support straightforward financial processing where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving within a framework of systems and processes

* Strong administrative capability, with confident computer skills for day-to-day work
* Excellent customer service-polite, professional and reliable, even when under pressure
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy across records, documents and outputs
* Comfortable working to guidelines, instructions and quality standards, escalating complex issues appropriately
* A proactive mindset, using discretion and initiative to help improve processes and deliver to workload targets
Additional information:
You'll work as part of a team with regular management support, responsible for your own time.
